Clinical Trials
Emotional Brain conducts research into the causes of and treatments for female sexual dysfunction (FSD). Our aim is to get more scientific knowledge about FSD and to develop new treatments and drugs for this condition. To make sure that the drug candidates are effective and safe, Emotional Brain is testing these drugs in women suffering from FSD and comparing the active drugs to a so-called ‘placebo’ (an inactive control).
Safety
In our studies we follow the strict rules for clinical trials, which have been established by global regulatory health care authorities. Every study follows a carefully controlled protocol, which is a study plan that details what researchers will do in the study.
